Opportunities to Serve Our Youth

The Youth Ministry at Hyde Park is gearing up for an exciting new school year. Our ministry is growing, creating great opportunities for you to get plugged in and make a difference in the lives of youth which will be felt for generations. 6th Grade Sunday School – (9:30-10:40 a.m. Sunday)

Our newest students are ready and eager to learn. You’ll have an opportunity to teach them new concepts and prepare them for Confirmation. You’ll have the opportunity to teach this class on a rotational basis as we have had a few teachers step up already.

High School Sunday School – (10:45-11:45 a.m. Sunday)

We have a fantastic group of high school students who are ready to go deeper in the faith and knowledge of the Bible. They have deep questions and they are looking for someone to travel with them on the journey of discipleship. We have a volunteer lined up who would like to teach in a team relationship.

High School UMYF – (6-8 p.m. Sunday)

Every Sunday night our high school students gather for fun, fellowship, small groups and worship. We need a few volunteers to assist with small groups and nurture these young disciples. You can even set up for worship, lead games or work the check-in table.

Tech Team Coach – (Sunday and Wednesday evenings)

We have a terrific group of youth that run the soundboard and provide the video for youth worship. They need an adult to help troubleshoot the complex issues that arise from time to time. You’ll have a chance to do some training and be a real asset to our wonderful praise bands. The high school band plays almost every week and our middle school band plays once each month.

Complete our Background Check form and bring it into the Youth Ministry Office to begin serving within the Youth Ministry. We'll contact you to discuss your interests.
