Our Children’s Ministries produces a weekly newsletter which is sent electronically to participants, teachers and other volunteers to provide updated information. Acolyte Almanac

Started in 2010, Hyde Park's Acolyte Ministry provides an opportunity for our elementary-aged children to serve in worship during our Traditional services, held in the Chapel at 8:30 and Sanctuary at 11 a.m.

Participants must be 9- to 13-years-old and complete a training course, where they learn their duties in both the Chapel and Sanctuary. A video which summarizes this information can be viewed here. Once trained, participants are added to the service schedule where they serve in teams of three volunteers throughout the year.

In addition, they receive an electronic copy of the weekly Acolyte Almanac, which contains updated information and the weekly schedule of which acolytes are serving in particular locations. The most recent copies of this publication are archived here:
