Making God's Love Real
Hyde Park United Methodist is a community of people committed to Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, united in the love of God, and called to make that love real to others.
We accomplish this mission by becoming people who
• INVITE people to experience the love of God and become disciples of Jesus Christ.
• EQUIP disciples to be agents of God's reconciling love in the world.
• CARE for one another in Christian community.
• SEND disciples as servants of Christ to participate in God's transformation of the world.

We Care
Just as a shepherd cares for his flock, many members of Hyde Park are deeply involved in caring for others both within the church, and from a community outreach perspective. If you believe you have the Spiritual Gift of Caring for others, you are invited to sample the many initiatives under way that help to Make God's Love Real in our church.
There are many opportunities to participate in Caring Relationships at Hyde Park. Our current programs include Visitations, Transportation, Prayer Ministries, Senior Groups, Health and Wellness Activities and Support Groups. If you would like additional information about an existing program or are interested in starting a new one, please call the church office at (813) 253.5388.
The Caring Ministries provide many other opportunities for fulfilling service. For more information, please contact Kim Clarke, email or phone, or (813) 254.4403 or the Rev. Bernie Lieving via email or by phone at (813) 253.5388 ext. 224.
