The Portico is Tampa’s “front porch” – the gathering place for the vibrant, emerging downtown community. It is an open book where residents write the pages of our future together. We envision festivals, concerts, social and interest groups, as well as community service projects. Get directions.

Carols in the CityCarolsInTheCity

7:30 p.m. Dec. 23. Join us for a unique Christmas gathering in downtown at the Portico campus for an evening of carols, prayers and fellowship. We will gather at the Portico at 7:30 p.m. and, after a brief gathering time, will travel a few city blocks, singing and praying as we go. We will also stop at several stations along the way to gather in song and pray for the neighborhood. Following the walk, we will gather back at the Portico for hot chocolate and cookies.

Helping People in Human Trafficking

We have established a supply closet at The Portico that will house items for the rescue victims of human trafficking, and serve as a central supply depot for the many agencies who assist in the rescue and rehabilitation process. Those who are rescued from these circumstances are in need of basic necessities while they are rehabilitating. Contact Bob Douglass, The Portico Administrator, for more information at 813.253.5388, ext. 403.

reGroup

Groups for men and women who want to heal the bad habits, hurts or hang-ups that we can’t get past. Regroup uses spiritual principles of the Bible, fellowship, honesty and confidentiality to let go of the past and recognize the loving redemptive power of power of Christ. Contact The Rev. Justin LaRosa for more information at 813.253.5388, ext. 404.
