The Rev.  Jim Harnish, Senior Pastor

Jim Harnish has served as our Senior Pastor since 1992. He is a native of Pennsylvania who “married into” Florida when he married Marsha, who is a native of St. Petersburg.  He has received honorary doctoral degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary-Orlando (2003) and Bethune-Cookman University (2007).  He represented Florida at the World Methodist Conferences in Nairobi, Kenya, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Brighton, England, and has authored  numerous books, Bible studies...(more). 

The Rev. Vicki Walker, Minister of Outreach

Vicki Walker is an ordained deacon and serves as our Minister of Missions and Outreach. She has been on staff since 1999 serving first as Director of Adult Education. Originally from Kentucky, Vicki earned her Masters of Arts in Religion with an emphasis in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary. She currently serves as the Chair of the Order of Deacons for the Florida Conference, and  has been an alternate delegate to three General Conferences...(more)

The Rev. Bernie Lieving, Congregational Care Pastor

Bernie Lieving has served at Hyde Park since 1994, first as Associate Pastor, then as Executive Pastor, and since 2006 as Congregational Care Pastor. He served more than 27 years as a United States Army Chaplain, including combat assignments in both Vietnam and Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.  Bernie is currently the pastoral contact for all ministries related to how we at Hyde Park care for ourselves and one another...(more)
